BOOKINGS & VIEWINGS
Can I view the studio space before my booking?
Yes, we offer a tour of our studio, which can be booked on our contact page.
How do I make a booking?
All bookings can be made online via our booking system by clicking here
You can also click ‘book now’ in the menu or the ‘book session’ button on our contact page.
How do I check studio availability?
You can view our studio availability in real time by following our online booking process until you reach the calendar page.
What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?
To receive a full refund, guests must cancel within 72 hours of making a booking.
Rescheduling can also be arranged, with a further 72 hours notice required and subject to availability.
PRICING
What are your studio rates?
We like to imagine ourselves as a builder, and you are the client who wants a nice new shiny mansion. Theres so many different moving parts to podcast production, so we dont really have one set price we can give out. We have found it much better or you as a client, and us as an agency, to really tailor a quote to your specific needs & budget. Some of our clients shoot one episode a month and have 4 social media cut down clips, some shoot five episodes and require full blown social media management. We can tailor our service to multiple different budgets, so contact us and lets see how we can work together. Please remember, our focus is monthly subscription clients, so rates will always be better for a monthly client.
Do you offer any discounts for bulk bookings?
Yes, we offer a discount of up to 15% for bulk bookings of 10hrs or more. Please drop us an email on stuart@thepodcaststudiomiltonkeynes.com with your booking enquiry including the total number of hours you would like to book and we will provide you with a discounted quote. Again, Monthly clients is the goal for us; Join our roster and save big!
What happens if I go over my booked slot?
Overtime is charged at £0.80 p, £1.15p or £1.45p per minute depending on your booked package regardless of your membership status.
RECORDING AT THE STUDIO
Will there be someone there to help me set up?
Yes, an experienced member of staff is always on-site during your booking. They will set up the equipment and be at the studio for the duration of the shoot (Although not present in the room; to give you privacy).
Each booking comes with a FREE 30-minute slot before your booking start time to allow for set up and late guests.

Can I change the layout of the studio?
Yes! We encourage our clients to get creative with the space and we are happy to move any furniture or plants around for you.
How many microphones do you have?
We have up to 6 microphones available for each booking at no additional charge.
How are podcasts recorded?
Your podcast will be recorded onto a RØDECASTER Pro 2 (up to 4 microphones).
The recorders capture separate tracks for each microphone as well as a single track that contains all microphones merged in.
Do you have cameras available?
Yes, All of our packages, both entry level and high end premium, come with 3 6k cinema cameras recording you from 3 different angles.
Can I bring my own equipment?
Yes, you can bring your own camera or audio recording equipment or Behind the scenes work, but we have everything you need here already.
When will I receive my files?
For one off bookings, Please allow up to 72 hours for your files to be uploaded and sent via cloud transfer. Alternatively, you can bring a hard-drive with you for instant file transfer. Monthly clients will have their episode uploaded within 48 hours.

Are the studios fully soundproofed?
Our studios are acoustically treated and not fully soundproof.

EQUIPMENT
What microphones do you have?
Every booking comes with up to 6x RØDE Procaster Broadcast Dynamic Microphones.
What cameras do you have?
We have 6x Panasonic GH6 cinema line cameras, which records in 6K.
What do you record audio with?
Podcasts are recorded on RØDECASTER Pro if you only need up to 4 microphones.

What lighting equipment do you provide?
We are proudly sponsored by Godox, with 5 of the most powerful film lights on offer, which are hung overhead on our ceiling rails.
We also have floor lighting which can be temperature balanced from 3200K (tungsten) to 5600K (daylight) and you also have the option to dial the lights to any of the 6 colours on the RGB colour wheel.

Our studios are open 10am to 7pm mon - fri
Do you have parking?
Yes, we have one space out the back and three in the adjacent car park. DO NOT park in front of the Gunshop, or the nursery opposite, You will get fined for doing so.

EDITING & POST-PRODUCTION

Do you offer audio editing and/or mixing?
Yes, This is an added cost for one off bookings, but included in all monthly client packages.
How does the editing process work?
We stitch all three cameras together, mix the audio from our interface, then cut the cameras on to who is talking in the frame. We then export it out to YouTube for our monthly clients

Do you offer a membership subscription?
Our biggest focus is monthly memberships. As much as we welcome one off bookings, you are far better off joining our roster, or cheaper prices, more work done and more benefits.
